Industrial Facilities, POF Wah
Purpose-built industrial production facilities delivered on a working defence-production estate — from first drawing to commissioning in ten months.
The programme called for two purpose-built production facilities on a working Pakistan Ordnance Factories estate: a complete factory, built to controlled industrial standards under a single delivery authority.
SEED carried the design, civil works, structural steel, and mechanical and electrical scope under one contract, with specialised production fit-out coordinated against the structure from the first drawing. The structures were modelled in-house as a federated BIM — structural, architectural, and MEP in one coordinated model — before steel was ordered.
Both facilities were built and commissioned in ten months from ground-break: two production halls covering more than 8,000 square metres, carried on 1,200 tonnes of structural steel, with clear internal heights reaching 17 metres, heavy-lift overhead cranes, and full mechanical, electrical, and process services.

The drawings the facilities were built against were authored in-house by SEED Design — a federated model coordinating structure, envelope, and services, executed against more than 1,800 construction drawings.
